Admissions and transfers in Grade 10: registrations open from Tuesday January 28th…The deadline is Thursday January 30th

Registration for admissions and transfers in Grade 10 in academies begins this Tuesday, January 28 and will end on Thursday, January 30, 2025. A limited number of places are available for the 2025 academic year, according to a press release from the Ministry of Education.

These registrations are for parents whose children wish to change academy after having already obtained a place or who have previously applied for a place in Grade 10 in 2025 but have not obtained it.

Parents or guardians must report to one of the designated centers between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28 and at the same time on Thursday, January 30, 2025 to complete the application form provided for this purpose.

Parents and legal guardians are invited to visit the following centers depending on their area:

Zone 1: Royal College of Port-Louis, in Cassis
Zone 2: Ministry of Education and Human Resources, Beau-Bassin
Zone 3: Sookdeo Bissoondoyal State College, Chapel Lane, Rose-Belle
Zone 4: Sir Abdool Raman Osman State College, Closel Road, Phoenix


When registering, the following documents must be provided: the student's original birth certificate, the National Identity Card (NIC) of the parents or legal guardian, the results of the National Certificate of Education (NCE) 2024 as well as the admission letter in Grade 10 in an academy.

Parents can apply for multiple academies. Once admitted, students will be required to choose a combination of subjects from those offered at the assigned school.

Any previous application must be renewed using the prescribed form, within the specified time limit. Applications received after Thursday, January 30, 2025 will not be considered.

The Ministry of Education reserves the right not to allocate places despite the opening of this registration procedure.
