All Schools to Close and Exams Postponed This Tuesday

Due to the security situation in the country, the Ministry of Education has announced that all public and private schools, as well as technical and vocational training centres, including those run by MITD and ITET, will be closed on Tuesday, 13 October.

All local and international examinations scheduled to take place in schools across Mauritius have also been suspended. A further announcement will be made regarding the reopening of educational institutions, depending on how the situation develops. Nurseries will also remain closed.

Higher Education: No Face-to-Face Classes This Tuesday, Lessons to Continue Online

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Research has announced that no face-to-face classes will be held on Tuesday, 13 October, at Polytechnics Mauritius centres or at public and private higher education institutions.

However, classes will continue online at all the institutions concerned.
